Ghostface unleashes itself on New York City in the first trailer for Scream VI

Ghostface trades his Woodsboro roots for a bloodthirsty run in the metropolis known as New York City in the full-length trailer for scream VI The twisted killer (a safe bet for anyone under the mask) faces the survivors of Woodsboro against a formidable group of enemies this time, especially as Ghostface’s playground has expanded far beyond the quiet suburbs.

The trailer shows Sam, Mindy and Chad trying to put aside their painful past and start afresh in a new town, but they’re soon reminded that Ghostface isn’t confined to the streets of Woodsboro any more than they were . We’re also introduced to Jenna Ortega’s fan-favorite Tara, who returns to her role in the Scream family after a profile-building and extremely successful appearance in Wednesday as the title character.

The rules of engagement may be different this time, but one thing will undoubtedly remain the same – Ghostface will rack up a hefty tally of kills, and it’ll do so with an unconventional (for her) set of tools Boots. The synopsis for the film is short but sweet and doesn’t give too much away:

“The Scream The saga continues as the four survivors of the Ghostface murders leave Woodsboro behind and begin a new chapter.”

A new chapter could be their big dream, and in a town full of it, it turns out the Woodsboro survivors have just signed up for a new nightmare. scream VI hits theaters on March 10th. Remember – everyone is a suspect.
