Groundbreaking planned for Polk County Clean Hydrogen Plant

MULBERRY, Fla. (WFLA) – A groundbreaking ceremony for a new clean hydrogen and carbon facility will take place on Tuesday morning.

The plant will be built by Korea-based LowCarbon Hydrogen Corporation on a 10-hectare site off Old Highway 37 in Mulberry.

According to a press release, the event symbolizes the collaboration between LowCarbon, Florida-based company Ocean Green Hydrogen, and the Florida state government to develop a clean hydrogen hub project.
