Harrison Ford reveals which piece of the Dutton family puzzle helped him prepare for ‘1923,’ when Luke Grimes releases his first country song

It’s a great day to be a fan of Taylor Sheridan yellowstone universe, and while many would argue it always is, there is something special about this Friday. We’re officially two days away from the premiere of 1923, the prequel to the Dutton family drama that we’re all now deeply invested in. The prequel/spin-off gives us a chance to learn more about the Duttons; It is a treat how each generation has striven to protect the family as well as the family’s lands and their namesake.

The scale in which 1923 exists is greater than anything we have seen in the yellowstone range so far, and we’re thrilled to be so close to officially meeting Jacob and Cara Dutton. Fans are also pleased that Luke Grimes, Yellowstone’s Handsome and popular Kayce Dutton has released his first country single, ‘No Horse to Ride,’ which is as dreamy as we’ve come to expect. You know the drill from here: grab your Yellowstone-loving bestie and your choice of drinks — it’s Friday, after all — and ride in.

Harrison Ford made sure to watch 1883 before taking the mantle of Jacob Dutton

Speaking to Collider, Ford said he’s been a busy man (he has) and wasn’t able to immerse himself in the main series as a whole, but he did check it out 1883 to see the path they took to bring the earlier Duttons to life.

“I’ve been working and I’ve been busy and I haven’t had much time to catch up, but I felt it was more important that I see everything 1883what I did because that’s the closest thing to what’s been developed in terms of time and story yellowstone Elements. yellowstonewhich is set in the present day… I love the work Kevin does and I love the show, but 1883 It was more important for me to focus on that and it helped me a lot to understand the way they told stories.”

The former Duttons have been through a lot in their time finding the land they settled and trying to keep it.

Ford also spoke of giving the character his truth and bringing her story to life with truth and authenticity. He said he’s excited to bring the complex character Sheridan wrote to life.

“Well, I want to serve the character and let the characters serve the story. I try to connect the character to the story because they support each other. Taylor Sheridan has written a dense and complicated character and it is both an honor and a challenge to accept it and I am enjoying it immensely.”

Ford’s talent and the length and breadth of his legendary career has been impressive in the film world and is reflected in his latest television venture, and we can’t wait to see him bring Jacob Dutton to life. We’re only two days away from seeing him with the infamous cowboy hat named Jacob, who owns Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. We happy!

Luke Grimes releases his first country song

Luke Grimes is officially a country music man with his debut single “No Horse to Ride,” out today. The song is a love song (quiet our beating hearts) and with a somber and romantic twang to his voice, it makes for an excellent listen as our hearts are filled with extra love at this magical time of year.

Grimes calls releasing his first song a dream come true and is launching a music career ahead of his Stagecoach gig next year. The tune is moody, emotional and beautiful, with lyrics about how loving the right person can bring meaning and life to all aspects of who we are.

“I would spin my wheels and not go anywhere fast
Bag full of apologies and an empty glass
All hat and no cattle and a pair of tumbleweed boots
I would blow in the wind if I didn’t have you

I would be a drunk without a drink
A guitar with a broken string
Without you I would be a shooting star without a midnight sky
A cowboy without a horse to ride

I would drive in the dark without my headlights on
On a one-way street that didn’t lead home
I would have to borrow from the devil just to pay my dues
I wouldn’t have anything of value if I didn’t have you”

Without that person, we might as well be a cowboy with no horse to ride, and that alone is a tragedy. Alongside the release of his song and a rather dreamy snap of himself and a guitar, Grimes shared a message with fans.

“My first song from my upcoming album is out today on all platforms. Music has always helped me find meaning. Hopefully this song means something to some people out there, that would mean a lot to me for sure. Much love, more soon…”

In addition to Stagecoach, Grimes will also play at Big Mountain Ranch, taking place July 14-16 in Montana. Grimes balances acting and country music with panache, passion and talent for both, and we can’t wait to continue him as Kayce Dutton and a country singer. Who knows, we might even fire up some of Grimes’ music yellowstone in upcoming episodes.
