Herschel Walker’s Erection briefs bring out the naughty side of the internet
In a list of the greatest political blunders of all time, a few spring to mind. Howard Dean yelling, George W. Bush saying “strategy,” and Joe Biden urging disabled Senator Chuck Graham to get out of his wheelchair come to mind, but now we have another addition: Herschel Walker to say “this erection is about the people.”
The odds of this going unnoticed were about as good as missing an eclipse while staring directly at the sun. And oh boy did people notice. Let’s go through some of the best answers to a gaffe that’s hilarious now but might be seen as a harbinger of doom if it wins.

Just take this typical excerpt from his speech the other day where he starts randomly reviewing a horror movie, courtesy of Toronto Star:
“I watched this movie with the name Fright night, freak night or any kind of night. But it was about vampires. I don’t know if you know, but vampires are cool people, aren’t they? Honestly, it’s kind of cool that he’s throwing up the old vampires vs. werewolves argument, but it doesn’t bode well for Georgia’s future, even if that erection does is about the people.
