“I think the film is a great introduction for people who haven’t seen the series,” said actor Eugene Mirman. “Plus Easter eggs for people who have it.”
The cast of actors working on ‘Bob’s Burgers’ have been together for 12 television seasons. They found that making the leap to the big screen wasn’t much different — they just had more time.
“The movie I think could put out a longer schedule, right?” said actress Kristen Schaal.
“They have to spend a lot of time on it, they have to really tweak it and make it what they wanted,” Mirman said.
“Animation was designed for cinema screens and is bigger and really beautiful. I know they took great pride in creating something that is really beautiful to look at while also being entertaining and entertaining for the fans. And maybe we’ll bring in some new people at the same time,” said actor John Roberts.
The story finds the Belcher family confronted with new problems: a sinkhole, a loan repayment, a mysterious murder. But like the TV show, they find heart, humor and a little music to get them through it all.
“It’s a very dark time right now. This is a great movie to get away from it all and enjoy yourself. I would say for people who have never seen the show before it is all inclusive for everyone. It’s a nice fan base. We have really nice fans and it’s a good community,” Roberts said.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie is in theaters now. You can stream more than 200 episodes of the TV series on Hulu.
Disney is the parent company of Hulu and ABC7.
