Hollywood star Idris Elba reveals he has been in therapy for “addiction” for a year
IDRIS Elba has revealed he has been in therapy for a year – because he is a workaholic.
The 51-year-old Luther actor described his addiction as “unhealthy.”

Idris, who has been married three times, said in a podcast: “I’ve been in therapy for about a year now.
“That is much.
“That’s because I have unhealthy habits.
“I work in an industry where I am rewarded for these unhealthy habits.
“I’m a total workaholic and that’s not good for life.
“I could work on underwater sequences for ten days and hold my breath for six minutes, then come back feeling more relaxed than sitting on the sofa with the family, which is bad, right?”
In addition to his work as an actor, Idris, who became famous in 2002 on the TV show The Wire, is a DJ and rapper.
He has a daughter and a son Winston with ex-partners and married model Sabrina Dhowre in 2019.
