Horrifying moment as a pilot crashes his plane seconds after performing the gender reveal stunt

A pilot has died tragically after his gender reveal went disastrously wrong.

At the event in beautiful San Pedro, Mexico, a pregnant couple was ready to share the happy news with their closest friends and family.

The parents-to-be decided the best way to announce their news was to hire a pilot and a small plane that emitted colorful smoke that indicated the baby’s gender.

Pilot crashes plane during gender reveal

Uploaded in one clip X (the site officially known as Twitter), the mom and dad duo were caught standing in front of a large sign that reads “Oh Baby.”

Hand in hand, spectators watched as a Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee aircraft picked up speed and flew closer to the party.

As the camera panned up, the plane emitted the colored smoke – it was pink; The couple had a daughter.

As the smoke filled the room, a pyrotechnic display of pink glitter simultaneously ignited.

In a flash, the left wing of the plane gave way and the plane went into a fatal spin.

Screams filled the audio as onlookers watched as the plane crashed into the ground. But the screams weren’t aimed at the pilot, but at the happy couple, who continued to celebrate.

The pilot was rushed to the hospital but died on arrival

Although the cameraman captured the moment the plane crashed, the fatal incident didn’t seem to attract the others in the crowd, nor the parents-to-be, who were oblivious to their surroundings as they hugged.

The pilot lay in the wreckage as rescue workers helped him extricate him.

A later photo, too graphic to share, showed the wreck of the Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee, which was completely destroyed in the crash.

The pilot, identified as Luis Ángel N, 32, was reportedly taken to a hospital in San Pedro in critical condition Linea Directa portal.

He was unconscious on arrival and, tragically, doctors found no signs of life, so he was pronounced dead. He was the only person on the plane.

Authorities have yet to confirm what caused the plane crash.
