Hot and humid Saturday with afternoon storms

The morning begins warm and muggy with temperatures hovering in the low 70s throughout the Bay Area and in the 60s elsewhere. This afternoon will be hot and humid everywhere with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Scattered showers and storms coming after 2pm and easing around 9pm to 10pm tonight.

Mother’s Day starts out warm and muggy with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees before hot highs climb to around 90 degrees. On Sunday and Monday it will remain mostly dry, the chance of rain is very low.

Rain showers will increase on Tuesday, mainly in the afternoon and evening, but there is only a 20 to 30 percent chance towards the end of the week. Highs throughout the week are in the high 80s to near the 90s, with lows in the low to mid 70s.
