On Stage, Backstage is one of the new world quests added with Genshin Impact 2.7 Update, and NPC Dayu will mostly ask you to get him some Red Dye as the quest progresses. Here you can get it.
Red Dye is one of the materials used to craft furnishings in the Serenitea Pot. Genshin Impactthe housing system. In other words, new players must first complete the quests required to unlock the Serenitea Pot if they haven’t already.
For experienced players who have already unlocked the pot, all you have to do is open your inventory, go to the Gadgets section and select the pot. It will appear near you and you can then interact with the pot to enter it.

In the pot, talk to Tubby, the teapot-like NPC located near the entrance of your house. Select Create Furniture and then go to the Creation/Colors menu. You can click it at the top of the screen or use the R1/right trigger button if you’re using a controller. In this menu, you can make Red Dye with either Sunsettia, Carrot, or Valberry. Choose the amount of Red Dye you want and click the Create button.
As a side note, if you place a subspace waypoint near Tubby in your Serenitea pot, you can teleport into the Serenitea pot by selecting it on the map. I always do, and this way you can access Furnishing Crafting or the Realm Depot very easily. Saves you a few steps and it’s much faster than having to get the pot from the inventory every time. You can purchase Sub-Space Waypoints by speaking to Tubby and accessing the Realm Depot. A subspace waypoint is 100 realm currency.
I personally found this quest particularly enjoyable, especially as we get to see more of Yun Jin. Genshin Impact World Quests, while voiceless, tend to be the best story content in the game. Especially when they make past characters appear that way. You definitely shouldn’t sleep on them or skip their dialogues.
