Hurricane Idalia tracks live updates
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida’s Gulf Coast is bracing for a hit from Hurricane Idalia, which is expected to hit the area as a severe Category 3 storm.
Idalia is expected to strengthen rapidly Tuesday as it nears the state’s Big Bend region, according to the National Hurricane Center. It is expected to make landfall on Wednesday.
