“I booked an appointment with a fertility doctor and weeks later I was pregnant,” says Scarlett Moffatt as she discusses the struggle to conceive

SCARLETT Moffatt has told how she struggled to conceive for so long that she made an appointment with a fertility expert – only to fall pregnant straight after.
The former Gogglebox regular gave birth to son Jude with her boyfriend, police officer Scott Dobinson, in June, but wanted to become a mother much sooner.
She said: “I’ve been with Scott for almost five years.
“We tried for a long time.
“I think a lot of women do that.
“I diagnosed myself: ‘Maybe I can’t have children because it’s not happening.’ . . ”
Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she added: “We booked an appointment with a fertility doctor to check everything was OK.
“That was in November, and on my birthday in October I was blowing out my birthday candles and wishing it would happen, like ‘I really wish I could have a baby’.”
“Then two weeks later I found out I was pregnant.
“It felt nice to email the fertility doctor and cancel the appointment.”
A Briton of delay
The Brit Awards will take place on Saturday March 2nd next year, two weeks later than usual.
The date was announced last night following a successful ceremony, which took place over a weekend for the first time this year.
The shift from mid-February to March is believed to be due to major events in the US, including the Super Bowl and the Grammys, as well as the Baftas here.
It will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX from London’s O2 Arena, with UK committee chairman Damian Christian promising: “It will be our most ambitious show yet.”
Geri is fully booked
GERI Halliwell-Horner has left the Spice Girls out to concentrate on her new book series.
The Mi Chico Latino singer will release Rosie Frost And The Falcon Queen next week as part of several books about her character.
she said ScaryMommy.com on the Spice Girls: “There will 100 percent be something at some point.
“When I’m doing something, I like to stay 100 percent focused.
“It’s like being a mother.
“So at the moment I’m dealing with one child, that’s Rosie.
“She deserves this attention.
“It’s like sending your child to college.”
Geri has written two new songs for the book: “Beautiful Life” and “Ghost In The House”.
However, they are currently only available to listen to via the book’s website. So don’t expect it to go back to No. 1 on the charts any time soon.
Put it on, Usher
USHER looked like he’d forgotten his shirt – or maybe he was just more worried about the piece of jewelry.
The American R&B star took to the stage for the second show of his eight-day residency at the intimate Paris concert hall La Seine Musicale, wearing a white three-piece suit.
It follows this week’s news that he’ll be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show in February, and judging by these shots, he’s ready for the show.
The performance will coincide with the release of his first album in eight years, Coming Home.
So expect both new and old songs.
Taylor tour comes to the cinema
TAYLOR Swift’s tour will hit cinemas before she graces our stages again with her concert film, released here next month.
The singer won’t bring her Eras Tour shows here until next summer, but has now confirmed that the film of the concerts will be shown at Odeon cinemas in the UK and Europe from October 13th.
This means thousands of people who didn’t get tickets to their stadium shows will still get the chance to see their career-spanning concert on the big screen.
Taylor wrote on .
“I am thrilled to announce that the Eras Tour concert film will officially be released in theaters worldwide on October 13th.”
Movie tickets went on sale yesterday afternoon and the Odeon website was struggling to cope with the overwhelming demand.
When the film was released in the US last month, £21 million worth of tickets were sold in one day, breaking AMC Cinemas’ record for the highest daily sales in the company’s 103-year history.
I have no doubt it will break box office records here too.
Suga’s performance is a big boogie
The country’s largest dance floor officially opens next week and Sugababes are booked to perform during the festive season.
The 15,000-capacity Drumsheds venue is located in a disused warehouse in north London and will open with a disco day party on October 7th.
But exciting news for pop fans is that an event has just been announced for December 2nd where Sugababes will be performing alongside dance music stars Eliza Rose, Jamz Supernova and also Jodie Harsh.
The S Club won’t stop moving
S CLUB has hired the choreographer of K-pop boy band sensation BTS to add momentum to their reunion tour.
I’ve learned that Danish dance guru Nicky Andersen has been hard at work in the studio with Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Tina Barrett, Bradley McIntosh and Jon Lee ahead of the group’s arena shows next month.
Nicky’s choreographing credits over the years have also included scheming for the Eurovision Song Contest and in director Guy Ritchie’s live-action version of Aladdin.

The Good Times tour kicks off in Manchester on October 12th with dates across the country before S Club then heads to North America for another run of shows.
Considering it’s been almost eight years since the group last shared a stage, fans have a lot to look forward to.
