Important update on the hunt for burglars who raided Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards’ home

The burglars who raided Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards’ home are believed to be part of a South American gang who have fled the country.

They stormed into Perrie and her football star fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s £3.5million mansion while they were at home with their baby son Axel, now one-year-old.

Cheshire Police have been searching CCTV cameras but yesterday confirmed no one had been arrested over the raid a year ago.

The gang is believed to have carried out several raids in the area.

Former Met Police detective Peter Bleksley said: “This has all the hallmarks of a gang from South America who have come here specifically to break in.”

“They would have reached their destination and fled much wealthier than when they arrived.”

“They would have left and returned home very soon after.

“It is possible that the property was monitored and observed. It’s a very sophisticated crime model.”

It is estimated that 500 South Americans travel to the UK each year to commit burglaries.
