The director behind the upcoming action outing Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Christopher McQuarrie, has revealed some interesting details about the sequel. Including who the villain will be and how Marvel star Hayley Atwell will intervene in the action. In conversation with Weekly entertainmentwho also released a new picture of Impossible Mission In the follow-up, McQuarrie described the character he plays Titans Star Esai Morales as “a ghost” from Ethan Hunt’s past.

“I can tell you that he’s definitely the antagonist in our story, or rather, he’s one of the antagonists in our story. He’s something of an enigma. In the course of the two films you learn more about him. There’s definitely more to him than meets the eye, and he’s something of a ghost from the past.

The plot for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One The film remains largely a mystery at this point, so such descriptions could provide clues as to what exactly the action film will be about. In the sequel, Henry Czerny will also play Eugene Kittridge, the former director of the IMF who last starred in the very first film Impossible Mission already in 1996.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One will also bring a host of new faces to the game, including Marvel stars Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff, as well as Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss and Cary Elwes.
