In one video, a New York City Police Department patrol car can be seen coming dangerously close to a moped

A video posted to social media showed a New York City Police Department SUV getting dangerously close to a moped traveling on the freeway.

In the undated video posted to Reddit, the moped can be seen attempting to get past the NYPD cruiser, but is prevented from doing so on multiple occasions.

The video shows how the patrol car almost rammed the moped several times.

According to the New York Post, the incident occurred on what appeared to be the Van Wyck Expressway.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, a spokesman for the NYPD said, “We are aware of the video and are currently reviewing it internally.”

In the video, people can be heard saying, “Call 311.” 311 is the city’s non-emergency phone number and can be used to file complaints.

“Look at that guy… Look at him!” a woman is heard saying as the squad car swerves, narrowly avoiding hitting the moped.

“Oh my god, he’s trying to hit him,” one person is heard saying.

The driver of the moped finally pulled off an exit at the last second and the squad car didn’t follow him.
