‘Inside Inbetweeners’ star Blake Harrison talks life away from the cameras as cast rules out third film

INBETWEENERS legend Blake Harrison has shared a glimpse into his personal life on social media.

The actor rose to fame in 2008 when he took on the role of Neil Sutherland in the popular E4 comedy.

Blake starred in the teen sitcom alongside Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and James Buckley in all three series until the show ended in 2010.

After his time on the hit show, Blake landed a number of incredible television roles.

He played Barney in Him & Her, Theo Roberts in Death in Paradise, Mamaca in Doctor Who, Dan in Kate & Koji, Stan Raddings in World on Fire and the voice of Scoop in Bob the Builder.

Blake has also appeared in a selection of films.

He played Private Pike in Dad’s Army, Travis Pickford in Agatha and the Truth of Murder and Greg Tullet in The Kindred.

But even after the huge success of both Inbetweeners films, his co-star Simon Bird recently ruled out the idea of ​​a third film.

He said: “I’m not sure it would be fun if they got back together now. I think it might just be kind of sad and scary.”

Away from the screen, Blake enjoys sharing what he’s up to in his personal life on social media.

Blake has a whopping 188,000 followers on Instagram.

He previously presented his fans with some cool snapshots from his vacation in Vancouver.

He and his wife Kerry Ann Lynch, who have two children together, also enjoyed a romantic getaway in Amsterdam last summer.

He told fans: “AmsterDAYUM, it was so nice frolicking around for a few days, big smiles between our tu-lips, I hope I don’t clog up your feeds with these photos.”

“People? This thing on? Hello? My wife told me my Nederlands puns.”

He also uses the platform to keep fans updated about his work.

The star recently announced that he will be working on the film Spread and filming has begun on the second season of World on Fire.

Written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, The Inbetweeners follows the lives of a group of four teenagers as they try to navigate life while studying for their A-levels.

Blake played the role of Neil, the most gullible of the guys who somehow managed to have the most luck with the ladies.

The Inbetweeners was and still is a HUGE fan favorite.

It has won a number of prestigious awards including ‘Best New TV Comedy’ at the 2008 British Comedy Awards, ‘Best TV Show gong’ at the 2010 NME Awards and ‘Digital Choice’ at the 2011 National Television Awards.

The series was also made into two films: The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) and The Inbetweeners 2 (2014).
