“Serena is happy at home and recovering,” a source reveals exclusively in the latest issue of Us weekly. “Everyone is healthy and doing very well.”
Williams, 41, announced via Tick tock that she and Ohanian, 40, gave birth to their second daughter, Adira River, on August 22. “Welcome my beautiful angel,” the tennis legend captioned a video of herself, Ohanian and their two daughters.
Now with two little ones at home – the proud parents are also mom and dad of daughter Olympia, 6 – tells the insider Us that Ohanian loves his role as a girl’s father. “Alexis is such a hands-on dad and is so caring and supportive,” adds the source. “He loves being around women and takes the role of dad of girls very seriously.”

Earlier this year, Williams — who married the Reddit co-founder in 2017 — broke the news of her second pregnancy by flaunting her baby bump at the 2023 Met Gala. “Was so excited when Anna Wintour “I invited the three of us to the Met Gala,” the athlete wrote Instagram Pictures of her and Ohanian’s Gucci bespoke looks on May 1st.
Olympia, meanwhile, only found out about the big news after the rest of the world. “Olympia doesn’t know I’m pregnant right now, so the big reveal will be at the Met and before we go I’ll tell Olympia,” Williams said in a May 5 interview youtube Video. “The reason I didn’t tell her is because she can’t keep a secret!”

It was also via YouTube that Williams and Ohanian announced the gender of their youngest child. During the duo’s sex reveal party with family and friends, drones lit up the sky with the message that they were expecting a baby girl.
Ohanian previously said in a May episode that he was “convinced” the baby would be a girl Who is talking to Chris Wallace?. “So even if we have 50 more kids, they’ll all be girls,” the tech entrepreneur joked. “But we will see.”
Ahead of Adira’s arrival, another insider shared Us “Serena and Alexis love being parents and can’t wait to have another child.”
The source continued, “They’re on cloud nine right now.”
