Inside Star Citizen features a look at the Drake Mule cargo vehicle and the RSI Scorpius heavy battleship

The ongoing Invictus event in StarCitizenwhich already hosts numerous vehicles and ship demonstrations, is reason enough for CIG to introduce two more vehicles to the game’s lineup: the Drake Mule cargo transporter ground vehicle and the RSI Scorpius heavy battleship.

As the name suggests, the Mule is all about carrying things, with room for six cargo boxes in its current iteration, while a forklift in the front and a cradle in the rear can haul larger cargo boxes SC’s Cargo Refactor comes into play. As for the RSI Scorpius, there hasn’t been much new information since the ship first debuted last year, though it’s a flyable thing now.

These two vehicles will be part of the offerings during their respective parts of the Invictus Free Fly event, but fans can see both vehicles in action in the video below.

Longtime MMORPG players will know this StarCitizen originally launched in 2012 for over $2 million with a planned launch in 2014. As of 2022, it still lingers in an incomplete but playable alpha, after years of raising over $450 million from players through continuous crowdfunding and the sale of in-game ships and other assets. It is currently the highest-funded video game of all time and has endured both the steadfast loyalty of proponents and immense skepticism from critics. A jointly developed single player title, squadron 42was always delayed.
