Introducing the Redmi Pad SE with 11-inch display, Snapdragon 680 SoC and 8,000 mAh battery: price, specifications

The Redmi Pad SE was launched in Europe on Tuesday. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform SoC and is offered in three memory variants and three color options. It packs an 8,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support. The Redmi Pad SE is said to have a similar design language to the Redmi Note 12 series and comes in an aluminum alloy unibody design. Notably, Xiaomi also recently launched the Pad 6 Max in China, which comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 10,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The 4GB + 128GB variant of the Redmi Pad SE costs 199 euros (about 18,000 rupees), while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants of the tablet cost 229 euros (about 20,800 rupees) and 249 euros (about 22,600 rupees). It is offered in graphite grey, lavender purple and mint green color options. The tablet’s release date has not yet been confirmed. The company also hasn’t said anything about launching the tablet in India.
Specifications and features of the Redmi Pad SE
The Redmi Pad SE is equipped with an 11-inch Full HD+ LCD display (1900 x 1200 pixels) and has a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, a peak brightness of 400 nits, a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz and a pixel density of 207 ppi. and a TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
The tablet is powered by a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform SoC paired with an AdrenoTM GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage accessible via a microSD card expandable by up to 1 TB. The Redmi Pad SE launches the Android 13 based MIUI Pad 14 immediately.
In the camera department, the Redmi Pad SE comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera, while the front features a 5-megapixel sensor. Equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery, the tablet supports 10W wired charging via a USB Type-C port. It is also equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack. For an enhanced audio experience, the tablet features four speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.
