Iron Man is getting an amazing playable demo in Unreal Engine 5

That Matrix awakens Tech Demo provides an incredible open world environment for many talented modders to try out their wildest ideas in Unreal Engine 5, and luckily we now have an Iron Man version of this playable demo with some amazing character animations!

Just a few weeks after the arrival of Unreal Engine 5 on PC, many impressive projects by indie developers and modders appeared online, demonstrating the capabilities of Epic’s new engine and just how far you can push the boundaries with technologies like Nanite and Lumen .

Some developers specifically focused on that Matrix awakens Tech Demo and try to bring some new ideas and mechanics into this playable demo and make it a superhero game.

It started with a Superman demo where you could fly freely around the city and feel the power of a next-gen superhero game! Then it got further improved thanks to a Batman tech demo that also allowed you to fight some enemies.

Now, an Iron Man demo has surfaced from another modder that doesn’t add any new game mechanics, but improves the visuals significantly!

Probably the most amazing thing about the Iron Man tech demo is the detailed character animations and incredible sound design. It really feels like something official with this cool landing animation.

The creator, Aaron Wayne Morse, definitely put a lot of effort into creating those smooth animations and delivering exciting sound for Iron Man’s super-fast flying.

This is a free tech demo that you can download here and run with Unreal Engine 5. However, note that this is not a streamlined demo, which means you’ll need a powerful PC to run it smoothly, as shown in the footage above.
