Israel-Hamas War: Thousands gather in downtown LA in support of Palestinian people

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) – A rally in support of Palestinian citizens was held in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday.

Thousands gathered in Pershing Square and chanted to demand an end to what they describe as Israeli occupation and genocide.

It was just one of many rallies in support of the Palestinian people that took place across the country.

Israeli warplanes have carried out air strikes on the Gaza Strip since Israel declared war on Hamas after a brazen attack by Hamas militants on October 7 killed at least 1,400 people.
