“J-hope in the Box,” a documentary about the eponymous BTS member, finally has a release date

J hope In the box is slated to release on Disney Plus next month, February 17, just a day before the rapper’s birthday. The documentary special follows the creative process behind the bts the first-ever studio album by a member, released on July 15.

The documentary is being produced by the group’s studio home, HYBE, with the intention of showing the behind-the-scenes hurdles in the making of J-Hope’s debut album. jack-in-the-box. The 28-year-old has become the first BTS member to release a solo documentary during the group’s hiatus.

This project is the result of collaboration between The Walt Disney Co. and HYBE. This historic partnership was announced in June 2022 along with the unveiling of future production of three titles representing this collaboration. J-Hope in the box marks the fourth Disney and HYBE-derived project, taking place amid BTS’ temporary hiatus as members seek conscription by 2025. This documentary will be one of many projects to come to light in the coming years as the members focus on their solo musical work, as well as individual Ambassador projects with luxury brands.
