Jackie endured a rumor of betrayal that Teresa had spread in a previous season. Luckily for the former attorney, the rumors were false. But she knows how damaging gossip can be. And so, when Bill’s betrayal came to light, it was understandable why she turned to Jennifer and attempted friendship.

Since filming wrapped for season 13, Jackie has had little contact with the mother-of-five. And she was surprised at the state of affairs. Jennifer even unfollowed Jackie on social media “a few months ago.”
“It’s like a flex on social media. So maybe we’re not friends,” Jackie said. “But I’m fine without Jen. We’re fine. I will survive.” Though she is supportive of Jennifer, Jackie feels that her efforts at friendship were neither reciprocated nor appreciated.
“After that, when I really tried to have a real conversation with her and show her some empathy for her situation, she was… no. She set me up with Melissa and Margaret and just wasn’t warm to me this season,” the published author explained.
That’s the tribal mentality that makes this show so great for reality TV. Nobody can see humanity in individuals. Instead, the gap between enemy lines widens.
