Jada Pinkett Smith publicly “hears” Will Smith on “Weekend Update.”

In case you were living under a rock last week, Jada Pinkett Smith recently published a memoir: Worthyin which she revealed a slew of family secrets – including the fact that she and her longtime “husband” Will Smith have actually been separated since 2016. Pinkett Smith’s publicist has to work some overtime as the actress seems to be talking about her everywhere in the book, incl SNL’s “Weekend Update”.

“Sorry if I seem a little tired,” said Pinkett Smith of Ego Nwodim. “I was on the Today Show 14 times in three days.” Which is only a slight exaggeration.

When Michael Che asked about the status of their seemingly failed marriage, Pinkett Smith admitted: “The day we got married, I knew there was going to be trouble. At our wedding, someone stood up and protested.” At Che’s urging, Pinkett Smith admitted that she was the one who objected.

“But it’s OK,” she continued, “because 23 years later, Will and I are still a unit.” And that’s because we’ve learned that the secret to a successful marriage is never being happy in bed to go.”

“You describe your marriage as ‘brutal, so brutal and beautiful,'” said a seemingly confused Che. But Jada didn’t miss a beat: “Yes… other people describe it as ‘brungesund’.”

Although she was desperate to talk more about Tupac Shakur even though no one had asked her about Tupac Shakur, Pinkett Smith said she’s in a wonderful place in her life right now because “Nothing makes me feel stronger than fucking myself in public . “Millionaire Husband.”

When Che mentioned that Will Smith, for his part, had described their marriage as “a sloppy public experiment in unconditional love,” she corrected the co-host that those words were actually taken directly from their wedding vows.
