Jenna Ortega tells you to respect her sacrifice by watching “Wednesday” over Thanksgiving

As of Wednesday (the day of the week) earlier this week, we can safely say that as a society we’ve all agreed that scream queen Jenna Ortega is the definitive Wednesday Addams, so much so that we may have trouble getting her off the hook to be separated in the future, notwithstanding the aesthetic transformation.
Indeed, with her starring role in , the young actress can confidently claim her status as the quintessential Wednesday Addams Wednesday packed to the brim with inch-perfect brooding, instantly iconic hairstyling, and a shrewd Wednesday way of dealing with the people and the world around her, all blending into the most perfect essence of character we’ve ever seen.
In a way, much like Ortega is Wednesday, Wednesday is Ortega; in a recent tweet, the star of Wednesday hinted at her and her character’s shared dislike of the pilgrim costume forced upon her for the city of Jericho’s Outreach Day, and used it as ammunition to cheekily get us all to strain the show.
Ortega’s face says it all; the pilgrim outfit is not. If we were commissioned to wear a costume like that to film a TV episode, we’d be damn sure we were getting the value out of our viewership, too.
Ortega’s fans were only too happy to let her know she craved it Wednesday Viewings would not go unanswered.
Wednesday is currently available to stream on Netflix, and for those of you who don’t want to try it, just think of the fashion crimes Ortega committed for us.
