Jimmy Kimmel brutally mocks Donald Trump Jr.’s intelligence community

Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York is about to get a lot more interesting as a parade of Trumps – including the former president himself – is set to parade through a Manhattan courtroom to answer questions about alleged irregularities in the financial reports he filed with the Trump- Organization.

Donald Trump Jr., the organization’s executive vice president, kicked off the legal ceremonies on Wednesday, essentially blaming everything on the family’s accountants.

“The fraudulent son was targeted as part of the $250 million lawsuit against her company,” Jimmy Kimmel explained on Wednesday, before releasing a shocking clip of Don Jr. joking that he “make- up should have worn,” as he awkwardly waited to begin proceedings.

“Here’s the thing about Don Jr.,” Kimmel noted. “What he lacks in intelligence, he also lacks in charisma.”

When Junior’s testimony is complete, his brother Eric Trump will take the stand. “And then Trump will claim he didn’t meet either of them,” says Kimmel.

Kimmel isn’t the only late-night host talking about Don Jr.’s performance. At Late at night, Seth Meyers explained the many reasons why the eldest Trump child could potentially make things worse for his father — especially if he chooses not to be completely candid with his answers, which could result in him being seen as more hostile Witness is treated.

“It doesn’t help Don Jr. that he already comes across as a hostile witness,” Meyers said. “The man has no cold. I mean, just look at where he’s standing. His chest bulges like a guy in a bar saying, ‘Get off.’ He looks like he’s just challenged a much bigger guy to a fight and is now waiting for his friends to hold him back.”

But if Meyers is right, there will be real trouble for Trump on Monday, when Ivanka Trump — whom Meyers described Tuesday as “the only kid Trump trusted to do actual business” — is scheduled to take the stand.
