Joe Jonas Hires Divorce Lawyer Amid Marriage To Sophie Turner: Reports
Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner according to multiple reports, they have spoken to divorce attorneys amid ongoing breakup speculation.
According to the pair, Jonas, 34, has reportedly hired a divorce attorney People And TMZ. TMZ also reports that he and the 27-year-old gymnast have been dealing with serious issues for several months.
Turner’s rep had no comment. Us weekly reached out to Jonas’ representative for comment.
Rumors circulated that the couple was in crisis earlier this month when they were both spotted without their wedding rings – after selling their Miami mansion in August.
Observant fans even noticed that Jonas, for his part, didn’t wear his wedding ring at the Jonas Brothers’ recent concerts. According to social media footage from the group’s Friday, Sept. 1 show at the Minnesota State Fair, he chose not to wear the gold ribbon. Jonas wore the ring the next day, a Saturday September 2nd. “I wish everyone a happy Labor Day weekend. This tour has been amazing so far,” read the caption on social media, with a picture of the three brothers seated around a fire pit. “Spend some family time in the Texas sunset tonight before a big show in Austin tomorrow.”
Turner was also absent from many of the brothers’ performances. The trip Shows only seen on opening night in New York City on August 12. The following evening, the English native was noticeably absent while Kevin and Nick’s wives – Danielle Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Jonas, respectively – both returned to the VIP area. Although Turner skipped the show, Joe gave her a friendly greeting while introducing “Hesitate.” Joe later dedicated performances of the song to her at the band’s performances in St. Louis and New Orleans.
Joe and the game of Thrones Alum was first linked in late 2016, nearly a year before their engagement.
“I was probably more nervous about asking her dad than asking her,” Joe recalled of his marriage proposal during a radio interview in January On air with Ryan Seacrest. “Everything just murmurs. Joe and Turner fled in Las Vegas in May 2019, hours after the Billboard Music Awards. A month later they held a second ceremony in France.
Us weekly confirmed in February 2020 that the couple were expecting their first baby. Daughter Willa was born the following July. Their second daughter, whose name has not been released publicly, completed the family in July 2022.
