Jonas Brothers fans unhappy with omitting ‘Year 3000’ during Thanksgiving halftime show

If you were sitting back and relaxing today and watching the Cowboys-Giants Thanksgiving Day game, you might as well be set for a halftime show throwback, with the Jonas Brothers perform a medley of some of their biggest hits over the years.
But you might also have noticed that the band’s set list raised eyebrows, namely their cover of Busted’s “Year 3000” (yes, kids – it’s a cover).
You wouldn’t have been the only one – the Jonas Brothers fandom is absolutely furious about the song’s absence from the halftime show performance:
It wasn’t the only tune that nostalgic Jonas Brothers fans missed, with the lack of “Burnin’ Up” and “SOS” also being duly noted.
Maybe Joe Jonas needed to rush off the stage to get back into the promotion circuit dedication and didn’t have time to release some of the band’s best tracks of all time.
While we take the time to reminisce about bygone days and the heyday of the Jonas Brothers, we were also recently reminded that Joe Jonas could have played Peter Parker in place of Andrew Garfield in Marc Webb’s The Incredible Spiderman. We think the casting director made the right decision.
