Joseph Quinn Dishes On His Chances Of Becoming The Next James Bond

What are Idris Elba, Tom Hardy and Joseph Quinn have in common? (Well, besides being really rich and famous actors?) Their names have all been mentioned as potential candidates to take on the coveted James Bond role after former Bond actor Daniel Craig moved away.

In an upcoming cover story for GQ Spainquinn gave his thoughts whether or not he would take the coveted role now that he was obscenely famous. Quinn shared this stranger things Character Eddie Munson that was so popular culturally was like “winning the lottery”.

He was then asked what he would do to capitalize on his current fame. Whether he would do indie films like his next project Hoardor would he chase after a brass ring and simply ask James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli to give him the coveted role?

“Yeah, actually I just did a zoom with Barbara,” he said jokingly. What roles he takes on, he said, “depends on his connection with the project.” Which is fine, but what if he was asked to actually be Bond?

“It would be bloody stupid to say no,” he said. “But come on, it doesn’t even make sense to think about it.”

This humble answer shows how quickly he has become a household name. Quinn went from virtual unknown to one of the sexiest actors alive seemingly overnight. He shared that he still can’t believe meeting celebrities is real even though he is one now.

He also shared that he deals with anxiety, which manifests itself physically in his body. Meeting Kevin Hart made him so nervous that his nerves left “bullet holes”. He met Patton Oswalt and couldn’t believe the actor was actually approaching him.

“His career is light years away from mine,” he said. “It was very strange that he approached me.”
