Kate Middleton is dueting with Eurovision 2022 winner Kalush
Surprise! Princess Kate started the Eurovision Song Contest this weekend with a special performance.

In the video clip, Kate stunned in a one-shouldered blue dress while sitting at the piano in a British chateau. The Duchess then tickled the ivory for a new arrangement of Kalush’s winning number ‘Stefania’ from last year’s competition.
The Ukrainian rap group – consisting of Oleh Psiuk, Ihor Didenchuk And MC Kylym Men – took part in the music competition in May 2022, which they ultimately won.
Kicking off this weekend’s global competition, Kalush teamed up with the Duchess of Cornwall, who held her own during the song.
“Well, that’s incredible ❤️,” TV host Holly Willoughby gushed via Instagram comment while singer Shirlie Kemp remarked that it was “wonderful”.
Kate – who has three children with her husband, Prince William – previously debuted during the Royal Carols: Together for Christmas Concert in December 2021. The show that streamed The BBC saw the Duchess of Cambridge hook up with a musician tom walker to perform his song “For Those Who Can’t Be Here”.
Kate studied piano with her younger siblings as a child Pippa Middleton And James Middleton.
“Kate started taking classes when she was about 10 or 11 until she was 13, about 1993 to 1995,” her former teacher said. Daniel Nichollsrecalled to the UK evening standard in April 2012. “She was absolutely lovely, a really lovely person to teach piano.”
He added at the time: “They were just absolutely lovely people, normal piano students.” … I don’t think anyone would say that she would become a concert pianist, but she was good at it, she always did everything she was told.”
Kate’s unexpected appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest comes less than a week after her father-in-law’s celebration King Charles IIIofficial coronation. The Princess and Prince of Wales, 40, took part in the coronation ceremony procession on May 6. They were accompanied by all three of their children: Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5. Charlotte and Louis sat next to their parents in the pew at Westminster Abbey while George, who is second in line to the throne, performed the task had to wear the train of the 74-year-old king’s robe as one of his four sides of honour.
