Kirby (and you) can return to dreamland for just $40 on Amazon

One of the most enchanting Nintendo Switch games of the year is available at its best price yet on Amazon for the second round of Prime Day. Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is only $40 (down from $60) through today, October 11th. If you’re looking for a family-friendly game to give as a gift this holiday, Kirby’s colorful side-scrolling adventure is a solid option.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, a remastered port of a 2011 Nintendo Wii game, was a turning point for the franchise. As the first Kirby game to use a 2.5D graphics style that has since been used in several other Kirby games, Return to Dream Land also features co-op gameplay with up to three other players and playable characters such as King Dedede and Meta Knight .

More than just a port, this Kirby game for Switch is packed with additional content and improved graphics. “Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe feels like a revival of his greatest hits, from the expanded return of a sweet co-op platforming adventure to a collection of mini-games from across the Kirby series,” wrote Steve Watts in GameSpot’s Kirby’s Return to Review of Dream Land Deluxe. “Magolor’s campaign appears to be the largest addition, but overall it looks like a pleasantly nostalgic return for Kirby.”
