KonoSuba Season 3 officially confirmed
The second season of Konosuba: God bless this beautiful world came out in 2017. Since then, the community has been waiting for an update on season 3. Well, after a long wait, we finally have official confirmation that the series will be renewed for a third season.
konosuba Anime started in 2016 and Studio Deen did an incredible job with the first two seasons of the TV show. The community also got the anime movie, KonoSuba: God bless this wonderful world! Legend of Purple, in 2019. After that, in July 2021, the creators announced a new anime project centered around Konosuba. However, no information about the animation studio was revealed at the time. That being said, we didn’t know if the upcoming project would be the long-awaited third season of the series or a standalone series. Well, we finally have some clarification on that.

Animation Studio Drive is working on Season 3 of KonoSuba
On May 28, 2022, the Twitter account for the konosuba Anime series Approved that the TV series is getting a third season. However, Studio Deen will not be working on the upcoming season; Instead, Studio Drive will take over the project.
This was also confirmed by the production house konosuba gets a spin-off series titled “Konosuba: An explosion on this wonderful world.” Apparently it’s the same anime project that was teased back in 2021. So this day was full of exciting surprises konosuba fans. The anime series was gone for almost three years, and now it’s coming back with not one, but two projects.
However, we still have no information about the release date of the third season. Since the new season recently got the green light, we can expect it to be in production for at least 8-10 months. So we could get konosuba Back on our screens sometime in 2023 with Season 3.
