Kourtney, Kim Kardashian’s Dolce and Gabbana Drama: What You Should Know
Keep it in the family. Kourtney Kardashian And Kim Kardashian After closing a business deal, they experienced a major setback in their relationship — and Hulu kept the cameras rolling as things got messy.
During the trailer for the third season of The Kardashianswhich was released in April 2023, Kourtney and Kim took center stage as they worked out their issues.
In the video, Kourtney accused her sister of using their wedding to do so Travis Barker as a “business opportunity” with Dolce & Gabbana. (The reality star tied the knot with the drummer in May 2022 while wearing a mini dress from the company.)
“People think it’s a misunderstanding. It’s not,” Kourtney added in a preview as various members of her family commented on the drama.
For her part, the Skims founder denied that she tried to steal the spotlight from Kourtney by collaborating at Milan Fashion Week in September 2022. “I’m really confused as to how that narrative came to her mind,” said the California native, claiming she was “aware of her sister’s well-established association with the Italian brand.” “I said, ‘Don’t do anything that Kourtney wore to her wedding.'”
Before the feud erupted, viewers saw Kourtney speak candidly about the distance between her and her loved ones.
“I think in our family we know how to celebrate together, we know how to have fun together, we know how to help each other on an almost superficial level,” she said in a May 2023 confessional. But we don’t know how to be sad together or mourn together. This is something we all do on our own.”
Kourtney shared the same opinion Khloe Kardashian in the third season premiere. “I’ve been thinking about how in our family we’re so good at partying and having fun. We’re also good at cheering each other up when we’re in a crisis, but in a superficial way,” she noted. “I don’t think we know on a deeper level how to be there for each other.”
However, Khloé questioned the comment, pointing out that there were certain milestones that Kourtney was not present for due to her tumultuous romance with Barker.
“When there’s something quite traumatic or devastating in the family, I feel like we’re all there with that person. That’s my experience, and if Kourtney doesn’t think so, I’m sorry,” the Good American co-founder shared. “But I could easily say, ‘Yeah, like you didn’t contact me about the baby or whatever.’ She’s just in her love bubble.”
