Kristen Doute predicts the ‘dark’ James Kennedy truth
We can all agree on that James Kennedy came out as Vanderpump pumps “Number One of the Group,” simply representative of Tom Sandoval’s reckless affair with Raquel Leviss. Tom Schwartz also fell out of favor for his inaction on the matter, despite knowing that his best friend Ariana Madix was cheating on him for months. Jax Taylor hasn’t been on the show since 2020. So it’s more like James is the last man standing.
Certainly not all of James’ past behavior can be swept under the rug. That frenzied intensity, complemented by slick one-liners, has only been toned down in recent seasons. His angelic new girlfriend, Ally Lewber, has also given him a fresh start. But if Jax looks good compared to Sandoval, then surely James can too.
But James’ ex-girlfriend and VPR alum favorite Kristen Doute doesn’t think he’s over the hill yet. He also cannot suppress his bad behavior forever. Ally, watch out.
James’ ‘good guy’ act ‘won’t last’
During an appearance on the May 29 episode of The Good Guys podcast, Kristen went so far as to refer to James’ current status as a “good guy.”
“I’m close to all of the OG cast members,” Kristen said of her VPR connections. “So James Kennedy isn’t in it. And I mean, right now I’m obviously not friends with Tom Sandoval. That’s a hard no.”
Kristen shared the perspective from which season 10’s celebrated James Kennedy emerged. She continued, “It won’t be long. He can ride the wave this season, why is he number one in the group? Because he’s the only one who doesn’t make a mistake this season? Wow, congratulations, you’re a grown man and you’ve had a great summer without messing up as much as everyone else. The truth always comes out… no matter how long it takes.”
As laughable as Kristen’s response is, she hinted that the skeletons up close and personal with James were “a bit sinister.”
