But the Can’t Get You Out Of My Head star has previously spoken out about her bizarre hang-up, saying she hates the noises they make.

In an interview in 2010, Kylie said of her closet: “It’s a room in my home where everything is tidy – and it never looks like other people’s closets in magazine photo shoots.”

“The problem is that I hate hanging things on hangers.

“I have a phobia of coat hangers – I don’t like the way they sound when you put them in the wardrobe.”

Kylie’s fear is officially known as cremastraphobia.

But she has no reason to worry about record sales as she is set to release her ninth No. 1 album tomorrow.

Her new release “Tension” sold better than the rest of the top 20 combined, coming in 35,000 ahead of Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts, which is at No. 2.

The singer, a chart-topper since 1987, told The Sun last weekend that the age of musicians will soon no longer matter.

She said: “Soon ageism will be so uncool that people just won’t do it anymore.”

“Just let that person live and breathe in their space.

“I think the younger generations are so open-minded that they don’t care.”
