LA Police Chase: Officer involved in accident near Watts after high speed chase, 1 person in custody

WATTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A Los Angeles police officer is treated for possible injuries after a high-speed chase ended in a Watts-area accident.

AIR7 HD was over the scene of the accident near 108th Street and Compton Avenue where an LAPD vehicle had crashed in the middle of the street.

Apparently, the officer collided with several parked cars.

The officer’s condition is still unknown.

Meanwhile, one person has been taken into custody, although it is unclear if that person was the driver who led the chase.
