Lance Reddick dead at 60: his wife pays tribute with a message of thanks

In a tweet on Saturday, Lance Reddick’s wife thanked everyone who had expressed their condolences following the sudden death of her husband on Friday.

“Lance was taken from us way too soon” Stephanie Reddick wrote on her late husband’s Twitter account. “Thank you for all of your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the last day. I see your messages and I can’t express how grateful I am to have you.”

Stephanie thanked “the thousands of Destiny players” who paid tribute to Reddick. She asked that a donation be made in his memory to momcares.org in his hometown of Baltimore.

The cable Creator David Simon, HBO and Warner Bros. Television are among those who have paid public tribute.

Reddick has played several memorable TV characters throughout his decades-long career, including Johnny Basilon ounce (2000–2001), Cedric Daniels on The cable (2002–2008), Phillip Broyles on edge area (2008-2013) and Associate Director Irvin Irving Bosch (2014-2021).

The prolific actor has made his mark on countless shows including Lost, American Horror Story And Pursue (Pictured above), among many others. Not to mention Reddick’s incredible film career, which has included roles in dozens of major films. He is next seen in the role of Charon John Wick: Chapter 4 Theatrical release on May 27th.
