Laura Benati says she occurred during a miscarriage

Actress and singer Laura Benanti, a Tony Award winner, announced that she recently had a miscarriage.
Benanti noted that she was aware of the miscarriage before the performance.
“On Monday April 3rd I performed on stage in front of 2000 people while having a miscarriage. I knew it was happening. It slowly started the night before. If it had been our first loss, or even our second, I probably wouldn’t have been able to continue. But unfortunately, I’m no stranger to the pain and emptiness of losing a pregnancy. It’s a path I’ve walked before, hand in hand with my husband,” she wrote on Instagram post.
“But this time we left together with some of the kindest and most loving people I will ever have the privilege of sharing the space with. Thank you to everyone in this audience for the grace that your presence has allowed. For lifting me out of my sorrow Holy Hour. Thank you to my band for holding me in their hearts unconditionally and to the crew for working so hard to make it as comfortable as possible for me. Thank you to my friends and fellow cast members who have gathered around me and been so kind in accommodating my changing needs,” Benanti wrote.
“My husband and I are heartbroken but we will get through this together as we and so many others have done before. I am sharing all of this not to seek sympathy or attention, but to remind the many people and families who have and will suffer in this way that there is no shame in this kind of loss. that you are not alone. And remember that too,” Benanti said.
The woman and her husband Patrick Brown have two children, including one who was born to a surrogate last year.
“Patrick and I are so grateful for the family we have and the miracle of our two little girls. One was carried by me and one by an angel on earth,” wrote Benati.
