Liberals lash out at Jill Biden over postage stamp honoring Nancy Reagan during Pride Month: ‘I’m so freaking exhausted’

Many on the left were angry and outraged by a seemingly harmless announcement that First Lady Jill Biden will unveil a United States Postal Service stamp honoring the late Nancy Reagan.

The White House released a statement that the First Lady would unveil the stamp Monday at the White House along with Reagan’s niece, Anne Peterson.

Some took the opportunity to shoot Reagan based on criticism of the Republican government’s response to the AIDS crisis in the 1980s. They noted that the announcement was particularly offensive because it was made on the first day of Pride Month.

“I’m so damn done. Have fun honoring the AIDS denier with the man who screwed up the mail so badly to help Trump win the election that my dad still can’t get a birthday card mailed to his grandchildren from his local post office in Purple PA.” , tweeted feminist activist Elizabeth McLaughlin.

Also on Wednesday, the Biden administration issued a statement of support for Pride Month and said it would vigorously oppose legislation that affirms traditional values.
