Lisa Rinna denies Andy Cohen’s claims she wants to return to RHOBH
We know Lisa Rina was never afraid to speak her mind while appearing on Bravo Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And now that the former diamond owner is leaving the circle, nothing is off the table.
The actress had a rough season 12 after incessant feuds with Kathy Hilton, Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais. During the reunion, she had an even bigger breakdown with Kathy that left her wondering on the street whether or not she would return through the Beverly Hills block one more time. Shortly thereafter, however, she confirmed her exit in January 2023 and thanked the broadcaster for her handsome eight-year paycheck.
Many viewers had questions about Lisa’s exit at the time. Was she fired? Or did she and the network mutually agree to go their separate ways? Related to Andy Cohens In recent comments, it sounds like he’s about to put the RHOBH vet on “pause,” when in fact Rinna decided to walk.
Andy shares a lot of behind-the-scenes insights into the Real Housewives while promoting his new book, The Daddy Diaries. Upon Lisa’s departure, the Bravo boss wrote about how the “Days of Our Lives” alum texted him about her retirement after the reunion was taped, but later changed his mind. But in his opinion, Rinna’s fate was already sealed.
Andy felt Rinna should have paused for a while, so her peace lyrics seem to have come at just the right time. He also claimed that after she left, she was aware of her status on the show and in the franchise. However, Lisa’s latest comments may have a different opinion.
“There was never a discussion with anyone about this concept,” Lisa’s rep said E! News. “Their contract ended and the parties agreed not to enter into a new contract. She felt her time on the show was up and she was more than happy to continue. And she still doesn’t regret it.”
It’s too early to tell if we’ll ever see Rinna return to RHOBH. But according to Lisa, she’s lived her best life out of housewifery and is reportedly “happier” than ever. However, it might be possible to get her for a season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
