Faye, 28, posted an adorable picture of her late dog Blondie on her Instagram Story as she announced her death.

Alongside the smiling snap from the beach as she enjoyed the sand, the Love Island star penned an emotional essay as she paid tribute.

She wrote: “Yesterday we said goodbye to my longest childhood friend of 17 years.

“You would have turned 18 next month and what an incredible 17 years you gave us.

“You were never lacking, you came to us afraid of men and became our father’s best friend.

“You loved unconditionally and gave everything until the end.

“Our hearts are broken and everyone who knows our family includes you. We love you Blondie, go after them, Bunny’s darling.”

The reality star also admitted that her entire family was affected by the loss of the pet and thanked her personal veterinarians for their support.

She added: “As a family we would just like to say thank you to Chris and Natasha from @vets4petsuk in Newton Abbot.”

“Their kindness and support over the last few years and in their final moments has been unmatched, we are at a loss for words.”
