Man arrested in Detroit for robbery in Phoenix City

PHENIX CITY, Alabama (WRBL) — A man arrested in Detroit, Michigan is charged with robbing a T-Mobile store in Phoenix City, according to the Phenix City Police Department (PCPD).
According to police, a robbery at the T-Mobile store on US Highway 280 occurred on April 29, 2023, in which the perpetrators got away with several phones and other items.
One of the suspects has been identified as Detroit resident Nathaniel Lamar Hill, police said. Investigators obtained a search warrant in Talbot County, Georgia, where Hill was located. Investigators found a 9mm handgun, multiple Apple iPhones, Air Pods, iPads and laptops.
PCPD says Hill was arrested by US Customs in Detroit on May 28. He is extradited back to Phenix City.
