Man killed driving onto the 110 freeway in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A man was killed after walking onto the 110 freeway in Los Angeles and being hit by a large drill.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. Saturday on the south side of the freeway near Gage Avenue.

It’s not clear why the man was operating info lanes on the highway, but officers are investigating, the CHP says.

The victim was described as a man in his late 30s.

Lanes were closed for several hours due to investigations by officials.
