Man pours gasoline on woman’s car and shoots her in the foot in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A woman was shot in the foot Wednesday afternoon by a man who also poured gasoline on her car, according to Anderson County officials.

The shooting happened at a home on North Prince Street in Anderson County around 2:30 p.m

Investigators said the man went to the woman’s home to collect belongings when he poured gasoline on her car.

When the woman came outside, the sheriff’s office said the man shot her in the foot.

The victim was taken to AnMed Medical Center by ambulance.

Anderson County officials said they were still searching for the shooter and believed he was armed.
