Although Sean and Mark got off to a rocky start, they eventually grew closer and even became intimate.

But recently things went south when Sean declared he wanted to stop the experiment.

The 31-year-old store manager decided to finally end things with his on-screen husband after contemplating his decision for a few days.

Onlookers watched as he said, “I’m going.”

He added: “It sucks. I don’t want to do that. I do not want to hurt you.”

Mark replied, “You keep saying you don’t want to hurt me. When I took my vows to you, you said you would never hurt me.”

“What do you think you’re doing now?”

Sean asked, “What do I do?”

Mark said, “You’re hurting me a lot. I was convinced that it went well and he would stay. He’ll work on it.”

“I’m sorry,” Sean said to his husband.

Mark snapped back, “You’re not,” as he burst into tears.”

And now it seems the couple have not ended on amicable terms as Mark has brutally unfollowed Sean on social media.

However, Sean continues to follow Mark.

After their emotional breakup, Paul Carrick Brunson said: “This is one of the most difficult conversations we’ve seen in the experiment so far.”

“I think we have to applaud Sean for finally being able to tell Mark exactly how he feels.”
