Marvel fandom has many vicious demands for the X-Men to join the MCU
Sooner or later the X-Men will make their full MCU debut. We’ve already seen Patrick Stewart as Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessKamala Khan turns out to be a mutant Mrs. Miracleand in dead pool 3 Hugh Jackman will once again stretch out his claws as Wolverine. But that’s just the opening salvo, and for years to come, an avalanche of mutants will shatter the status quo.
But who should be the main antagonist of the mutants? The obvious (and most likely correct) prediction is that an MCU Magneto will be a major player, but this X-Men We have some great villains we’d like to see:
Interestingly, fans seem to want more obscure villains to have their moment in the spotlight:
Or how about Arcade if they’re ready to push the boat out:
A government sentinel program would be a great idea, maybe with a twist of using old Stark Tech or Ultron stuff to create them:
A movie that focuses on Juggernaut and Xavier’s awkward family relationship would definitely be a good time:
And of course there’s Onslaught:
But let’s face it, while there are more fun mutant villains than you can imagine, it’s definitely going to be Magneto as the X-Men’s first MCU nemesis. Sure, we’ve seen two versions of the character in live action before, but few other villains have the complexity, incredible power, and innate charisma that the Master of Metal brings to the big screen.
Still, by the time the sequels come out, we’re hoping that Marvel Studios will push the boat out and we’ll bring some of the weirder villains to the big screen.
