MAURA Derrane was very happy to return to RTE’s Cork studio this afternoon.

The Galway beauty returned to hit show Today after a well-deserved performance alongside Daithi O Se Summer break.

Maura took to Instagram following the show to share some stunning photos of herself posing in the studio.

The 53-year-old looked radiant as he wore a blue and purple floral long sleeve shirt Mini Rixo dress.

She paired the dress with purple heels from Serena Boutiques and purple drop earrings from Brown Thomas.

Maura captioned the post: “My first day back at @rtetoday. I can’t believe it’s season 12.”

Earlier this week, Maura shared a video of herself stretching and experiencing a “natural high” outside.

The Today presenter used Instagram to do this post a clip of herself exercising in a park next to some trees.

She urged her fans to exercise outdoors and explained this Advantages of that.

Maura said: “Stretch into a new week at Nature’s Gym. When you exercise outdoors, the benefits are double.”


“It keeps your body strong but also helps yours Mental health.

“Exercising in the countryside releases feel-good hormones that provide a natural high and calm the mind.”

The 53-year-old was inspired after interviewing author Julia Bradbury on RTE last week radio 1 about her book Walk Yourself Happy.

Maura explained: “We discussed what the latest looks like Research shows that walking, even for 10 minutes a day, can reduce your biological age and help keep your memory sharp.

“And it’s free! So let’s enjoy nature as often as possible.”
