MCSO arrests two people during crime-fighting operations in Muscogee, Russell Counties

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Georgia (WRBL) – On Thursday, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Drugs, Gang and Fugitives Unit, with support from the US Marshals Service and the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, announced the arrest of two people during a crime-fighting operation.

According to the MCSO, Cornell Robinson was wanted by authorities on two counts grievous bodily harm And Offense: possession of a firearm while committing an offense. Authorities located Robinson at a Russell County apartment building and took him to the Russell County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Georgia.

The MCSO also recently conducted crime-fighting operations. During crime-fighting patrols, MCSO officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of St Mary’s Road and Brennan Road. During a vehicle search, officers recovered 76 ecstasy pills with an estimated street value of $2,280.

Police transported the driver of the vehicle, Tahj Bridges, to the Muscogee County Jail and charged him Offense: trafficking in ecstasy And Offense: possession of a firearm while committing an offense.
