Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby’s relationship timeline from BiP
Michael Allio And Danielle Maltby Both survived a tragedy and got a second chance at love in season 8 Bachelor in paradise.
Meanwhile, Allio made his Bachelor Nation debut Katie Thurston‘s season of The Bachelorette in 2021, but he ultimately eliminated himself because he didn’t want to leave his son James home alone. The Ohio native shared James with his wife Laura, who died of breast cancer in 2019.
Maltby, for her part, stepped up Nick Viall‘s season of The bachelor, which aired in 2017. Before appearing on the ABC dating show, the neonatal nurse was in a relationship with Nick Haag. The couple had only been engaged for three months when Haag died of a drug overdose in 2011 at the age of 29.
Afterwards a short one paradise connection with Sierra Jackson, Allio gets along well with Maltby after she asks him out on a date in person. The couple didn’t get engaged in the season finale, but exchanged the L word – and agreed to continue seeing each other after filming.
In September 2023, Allio announced that he and Maltby had broken up after a year of dating.
