Mike Lindell was upset about the “lumpy” pillow remark during the deposition

(The hill) – MyPillow businessman Mike Lindell hounded lawyers who questioned him and repeatedly insulted them over claims that the 2020 election was fraudulent. This happened in a newly released video of his testimony, in which the prominent Republican donor and conspiracy theorist shouts and curses at her.

The video is from Lindell’s deposition in a defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems employee Eric Coomer, recorded in March.

“You’re just a lawyer, you’re an ambulance-chasing lawyer, so don’t start with me. I have all day,” Lindell said. “I’ll take as much time as you want, so let’s go. You’re not my boss, you’re just a lawyer, a frivolous lawyer.”

Lindell repeatedly criticized Coomer’s lawyers and questioned the basis of the defamation suit.

“This is a frivolous case and if you represent this guy and have read this case, you are a disgusting lawyer, period,” he said. “I can’t believe anyone would take this. This is absolutely disgusting, it’s a disgrace to our country, it’s a disgrace to you.”

The statement came a little more than a month after Lindell carried out unsuccessfully to become chairman of the Republican National Committee. Coomer filed a defamation lawsuit against Lindell in May 2022.

Coomer claims Lindell and his company are “the most prolific purveyors of baseless conspiracy theories alleging voter fraud in the 2020 election.” The lawsuit reads.

According to the lawsuit, Lindell claimed that Coomer was “a traitor to the United States” because of his association with Dominion. Lindell also worked with a Colorado conspiracy theorist who repeatedly accused “Eric the Dominion guy” of rigging the 2020 election against former President Trump.

Dominion separately sued Lindell for defamation At the beginning of 2021, the company demanded $1.3 billion in damages. The company before sued and settled with Fox News over similar defamation allegations.

In the statement, Lindell continued to insult Coomer’s attorneys.

“Depraved, terrible lawyers like you and the media say, ‘Oh, Mike Lindell is trying to save this country just to make money.’ “I’ve lost everything I’ve ever had, understand?” he screamed. “You are a bad, bad man. That’s in the files. Very devilish.”

In another series of interviews, the attorney questioned Lindell about the company’s customer service protocols. The lawyer asked what happens when he gets “calls about lumpy pillows.”

“No, these are not lumpy pillows, that’s not what they call it,” Lindell said. “When you say lumpy pillows, you’re now an ah-, do you understand that? You’re an ah-, that’s you!”

Lindell’s attorney tried to stop his client before he was interrupted. “No, he’s an ah-, he’s an ambulance-chasing ah-!” Lindell continued.

“That’s you,” Lindell told Coomer’s attorney. “Lumpy pillows, kiss my a-!” Write that in your book. … Nobody calls about a worn-out pillow.”

In another deposition last month, Lindell allegedly cut the session short to appear on an episode of former Trump adviser Steve Bannon’s podcast, Coomer’s lawyers allege.

Lindell was “vulgar, threatening, loud, disrespectful to Dr. “Coomer’s attorney and the court were evasive and largely unresponsive to questions,” Coomer’s attorneys said in a letter Court records.

The lawyers want Lindell to pay the costs of the defamation sessions and force him to go before a judge for further questioning.
