Modern Warfare 2 likely won’t see a return of map voting

Map voting has been a fan-favorite feature in the past call of Duty title, but it looks like it may be missing Modern warfare 2 according to a leak.

Now it appears Infinity Ward will be sticking to its guns, as a leaker claims that no form of map voting appears to be in place at this time Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Although it appears that map voting is not currently part of the plan for Modern warfare 2, there is a slim possibility that it will be added sometime before the end of development. But considering the feature wasn’t present in the 2019 reboot, it’s highly likely it won’t be returning for the sequel.

It has never been confirmed why card voting only exists in certain cases call of Duty title, but many speculate that the decision was due to only the most popular cards being repeatedly chosen. Hope even pointed out in one reply to a follower that map voting doesn’t affect skill-based matchmaking, precluding that being a possibility for the decision.
